Biography

Aleksandra Spasojevic, an actress, was born on October 23, 1973 in Banja Luka.

During elementary school she also attended the School of Classical Ballet.

She graduated from the Grammar School in Banja Luka in 1992, and in 1998 she enrolled in the Drama Department of Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, , where she graduated in 2002 with the play “Lover” by Harold Pinter in the class of Professor Nenad Bojić.

For twenty-two years she has been working at Theatre where she played about 90 premieres for children and adults.

Having collaborated with a number of prominent local and foreign directors, she played in well-known drama titles such as “The Master and Margarita” by M.Bulgakov, “Three Sisters” by A.P. Chekhov, “The Blue Bird” by M.Meterlinka, ” The Animal Farm” by J. Orwell, H.K.Andersen’s “The Steadfast Tin Soldier”…

Numerous awards she has received during her studies and continued professional engagement.

She worked as an Assistant at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka in the subject of acting.

In the last ten years she has been engaged in theatre directing.

“How the Ugly Words became” by Dusko Radovic, ” A trip around the world on scooter”  ” by Tode Nikoletic, “Missing” by Toon Tellegen, “The Little Prince” by A.S.Exupéry, “The Tempest” by V. Shakespeare … are just some of the titles she has directed for children and adults.

She is employed at the Children’s Theatre of the Republika Srpska where she also runs the School of Acting for Children and Youth.
